The leitmotifs of my current incarnation revolve around meditation and music. I was blessed to find a guru at an early age – Paramahansa Yogananda – and also to study classical music from age five on. The earlier part of my life was spent as a professional oboist (an instrument that’s great for developing the breath and pranayama techniques).

But then I made a career change into arts marketing. After meeting Astor Piazzolla, the great architect of nuevo tango, in 1989, I became obsessed with the idea of studying tango and learning the bandoneon. The universe cooperated in 1998 by sending me a terrific instrument and an inspired teacher in Buenos Aires at the Conservatorio de Manuel de Falla. My personal passion is to master that crazy Argentine squeezebox, but my soul’s passion is to do everything in my power during this incarnation to merge with God.

In the meantime, my day gig is as Director of Sales and Interactive Media for a symphony orchestra.
